James L. Froebel

James Lee Froebel, (Buddy-Buddy) of Park Place passed away on February 21, 2017 at Syracuse V.A. Hospital. He was born March 21, 1937 in Coudersport, PA son of the late Floyd and Irene Froebel.
James is survived by a daughter Birgit Gratton (Ken). Five grandchildren, Keith Froebel (Rita) Amy Taylor (Jeff), Brian Gratton, Beth Faulkner (Mark), Sabrina Borst (Brian), 13 great -grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren, a brother David Froebel, sisters Phyllis Bishop and Mary Hodge. Many nieces,nephews and his fur friend Dutchie.
He is preceded in death by his siblings - Ronald, Herbert, Floyd, June, Agnes and Anita.  
James served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and was stationed in Germany. He worked 27 years as a Post Standard Carrier and his last few years as a Citizen carrier. His joys in life were his family, his dog, hunting, fishing and yodeling.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 in Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home a 42 E.Genesee St. Auburn at 1:00 p.m.
