James F. Zolinski, 80, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Auburn Rehab & Nursing Center.  Jim was born January 30, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was the son of Floyd and Clara Zolinski.  
Jim graduated from Holy Rosary High School and later, after he served in the Military, graduated from Great Lakes Business School. He worked at Tupes of Saginaw until he moved to Auburn in 1980. He retired from Chase Design in Skaneateles, NY.
He was inducted into the Army on December 2, 1954 and discharged on November 30, 1956 and was stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Jim was a Michigan Spartan basketball fan. He also followed the Detroit Tigers baseball team. He was a lifetime member of the Polish Falcons of America and a parishioner of St. Mary & St. Martha Parish at St. Hyacinth Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia(Tezyk)Zolinski, Stepdaughter, Cathleen Streeter (Kevin), Stepson, Michael Pingryn.  He is also survived by his 3 grandaughters, Andrea, Alexandra (Alli)and Anna Streeter. He was so proud of these 3 young ladies and enjoyed every moment he had with them, 2 Sisters, Beverley Susalski & Marcia Rogoszewski both of Saginaw, Michigan and last but not least his “grandog”, Jake, the bagel snatcher.  Also 1 niece,and 4 nephews all of Saginaw. Several cousins.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Floyd & Clara Zolinski and 1 stepdaughter, Christine Marie Pingryn.
There will be a calling hour at 10:00am in St. Hyacinth’s Church on February 1. 2017 with a Mass of Resurrection to follow at 11:00 am. Entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum with military honors.
