Duane Hopkins

Duane R. Hopkins passed away unexpectedly on October the 11th, 2017 at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving children, daughter Kimberly (Hopkins) Rooker and husband Ernest Rooker; son Jeffory Hopkins; sisters Joan Seamans, Bertha Reynolds, Jennie Dougan; brothers Jerry and Ronald; grandchildren Kevin Champion, Matthew Rooker, Carrie Rooker, Joshua Hopkins, Ali Hopkins, and Nicholas Hopkins; as well as several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Duane was predeceased by his parents Carrie and Ralph Hopkins, brothers Lawrence and Harry.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 17th 2017 from 11am to 1pm at the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home, LLC, located at 42 East Genesee Street, Auburn, NY. A short service will follow with the burial proceeding at Pine Hill Cemetery.

          In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a donation to their venue of choice in his honor.
