Larry Treat Obituary

Larry E. Treat, 70, of Town of Montezuma died Wednesday Feb. 28, 2018 in Auburn Community Hospital.

Larry was born in Auburn the son of Ernest and Dorothy Vergason Treat. He was a Port Byron graduate of 1965 and was a US Air Force veteran serving 1966-1970. He retired from Morris Protection Agency. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family and friends

Larry is survived by his wife of 46 years Darlene (Sherman) Treat. His children Michele Barnes (Jason), Marsha Caskey (Danny). Three grand dogs, Captain, Ace, Fritz. Grandchildren, Jaya Wittwer, Illyana and Conner Caskey and three stepchildren. Sister Donna Treat, brother and sister in-laws, several nieces nephews, cousins and close friends.

Mr. Treat funeral service will be conducted on Saturday March 3, at 4:00 p.m. in the Heieck – Pelc Funeral Home, LLC 42 E.Genesee St. Auburn. Family and friends are invited to call on the family from 2-3:45 p.m. in the funeral home. Private burial will be in the spring.

Family has requested in lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation Finger Lakes Chapter  C/O Kuneytown Sportsman's Club 3735 North Hoster Rd. Seneca Falls, NY13148 or to the Montezuma Fire Dept. 8115 High St. Port Byron, NY 13140.
