Louis J. Charles

Louis J. Charles Sr. passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, in Auburn, surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Tillie (Tarby) Charles. Lou was retired after 30 years from NYSEG. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved nothing more than spending time at his hunting camp with friends and family. He loved life and enjoyed playing cards, traveling and visiting casinos.
He is survived by many friends and family who loved him dearly, including his loving friend Phyl Stallone, his three children and their spouses, Patricia (and Michael) Brynda, Christine (and Fred) Perfetto, and Louis Jr. (and Connie) Charles Jr.; five grandchildren (and their spouses) Brian (and Jen) Brynda, Jackie (and Mark) Champion, Brenda (and David) Michaelson, Stacey (and Steven) Bell, and Ryan (and Meghan) Charles; and seven great-grandchildren, Kailey, Brayden, Henry, Sarah, Kristen, Mayla and Lilliana. He is also survived by his dear brother Daniel, niece Cindy and nephew Dan.
In accordance  to Mr. Charles wishes there will be no calling hours and funeral services will be private,
