A death of a loved on can be difficult and challenging.  It is something that is not natural because it isn't in our makeup. No one wants to die or loose a loved one. I also have lost loved ones and have found comfort in reading Acts 24:15 which says that there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous.  May you and your family also receive this comfort from the word of God during this difficult time of your loss.

Can you imagine the joy of Martha and Mary when Jesus raised Lazarus back to life?—Read John 11:21-24, 38-44. The Holy Writing at Revelation 21:3,4 promises that one day sickness and death will be gone. To find out more regarding the hope for the dead visit www.JW.org and search "death".

Condolences to you and your family. May you find comfort in this difficult time.

Kind regards,

For Bob's family:  Bob was a friend from my early years when he taught me how to run machine shop machines at his little shop in Cayuga.  His wife Phyllis was my cousin...the daughter of my mother's sister.  I spent a lot of my youth at their Cayuga home.  Phyllis and my late sister Virginia were virtually kids together.  I enjoyed visiting Bob and Phyllis when they lived in Auburn and "inherited" a lot of her DeOrio family history, photo's, documents etc.  Bob worked at Parker Hannifin in Clyde where i worked so we had some time together for a dozen or so years before I and my family moved to Florida...from then on it was a visit for a couple hours each time we were in Auburn.  Kevin was my CB radio "go to" man and up until his passing was the one who dialed the phone and handed it to him so we could talk.  When I read of Kevin's passing I knew that it would take a toll on Bob also.  I will pray for Bob as I have been for Phyllis and Kevin.  He was a good guy, a good cousin, and a good husband to my cousin Phyllis.  My memories will be of love and of prayer.  Now is the time to Trust God.  If I get another trip to Auburn out of life...i will spend time at my great grandmother and grandmother and the rest of my family who are there.  Bob loved his family and talked about each of them every time we talked on the phone.  I will miss that too.
