June 10, 1965 ~ March 17, 2018 (age 52) 52 Years Old

Scott Owens Obituary

Scott was born into the arms of Virginia Shufelt on 6/10/1965 and returned to her loving arms 3/17/18 after a courageous battle for the past few months with AML (acute myeoblastic leukemia).He passed at his sister’s home surrounded by his caring & devoted family.

Scott was an avid advocate for nature & our environment. He enjoyed fishing, hunting & going for walks just to be close to nature. He explained many times that the woods was his church. Among family & friends he was known as the animal whisperer.

Scott will be remembered by all for his gentle & kind persona as well as a people person.

Scott attended Clyde Savannah Central School. He was employed by Bricco Plumbing in Clyde N.Y as a HVAC & plumbing mechanic and could always be found helping others when needed for any kind of repair.

 

Scott is survived by his devoted son Dalton Owens, ( Lynne Owens). His companion Patricia Baird, and his siblings Penny (Richard )DeLeo, Rebecca(Steve ) Salerno, Judith Blasczak.  Roger Shufelt.

Stepchildren Kristen (Tavares) Harris, Kalah Whitcomb Zachary(Jessica) Whitcomb , Kimberly Whitcomb & Timothy(Kay) Whitcomb.

His, 8 Grandchildren. 8- devoted nieces & nephews , 6 great nieces & nephews.

Scott also leaves behind 3 pets that miss him dearly Isabella,Sebastian & Miss Kitty.
