Shawn David Ford

Shawn David Ford, 45 years young, passed away unexpectedly on 2/25/18, at his home in Jordan, NY.  His daughter Emma, his "special girl", was by his side.

Shawn was a wonderful and loving father, husband and son. He was loved and respected by many friends and family due to his kind heart and generosity. Shawn medically retired from the City of Auburn Water Department after surviving work-related injuries. He was much respected for his years of hard work and dedicated service. His work crew was his second family.

 Shawn is survived by his 3 children, Steven "his boy", Emma and Chelsea. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Chloe, his wife, Steffany, and parents Linda and Roland Ford. Shawn also has numerous relatives and friends who know who they are and how much he loved them.

Shawn was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerald P. and Mildred J. Berry and a special father-in-law, Steven R. Jump.

Shawn’s funeral service will be conducted on Friday March 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Heieck – Pelc Funeral Home, LLC 42 E.Genesee St. Auburn, NY.  Family and friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 2:30 pm. – 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Although not officially baptized, Shawn had a strong faith in God and knew that God would see the good person he truly was and would welcome him to Heaven with open arms. Shawn will forever be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
