Beulah A. Fowler 102 died on Oct. 27, 2013 at Auburn Finger lakes Center for living.
Born in Savannah, NY on Oct. 29, 1910, daughter of Lyman and Bertha Harden Dratt.
Mrs Fowler remained a life resident of Savannah, Sodus Bay, Seneca Falls before moving to Auburn. She graduated from Savannah High School in 1930, attended Jordan Teachers training School and Oswego Normal School before teaching in Savannah as elementary teacher.
She married Russel Fowler on June 29, 1935. She and her husband farmed until she began working at General Electric in Clyde in 1951 retiring in 1967. She then worked for Newark Development Center from 1967-75.
She and her husband resided in Sodus Bay until retiring and moving to Ocala, Fl. in 1982and returning in 1985 to settle in Seneca Falls.
Mrs. Fowler was a member of the First Christian Church of Ocala and attended the Waterloo Baptist Church. She was a member of the Rose Grange #105, since 1944, a life member of the NYS Grange and National Grange. Also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Humanity Chapter #466, Order of Amaranth, Guilda Cress Court 29, Ocala, Fl.
She is survived by nieces Geraldine Wolfe , Grand nephew Jefferty Wolfe both of Savannah, Grand nieces Stacy Wolfe of Newark, Karen Stewert of Savannah, and Kimberly Carr of Clyde.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday Oct. 30, 1013 from 2 - 4 pm at the Heieck - Pelc Funeral Home 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn, NY. Interment will be private in Butler-Savannah Cemetery
