Carol Anne (Wright) Bracy

Carol Anne Bracy, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend passed away on June 24, 2025 at St. Joseph's hospital after a short illness. She spent her final moments surrounded by her loved ones.

Carol dedicated her life to her family. She was a homemaker raising her children and worked alongside her mother at The Flower Basket and Gift Shoppe. She made many friends working at Ed and Jeans, then later retired after cooking in her daughters restaurant.
Carol was known for her kindness and generosity, even when she had little to spare. She loved to cook for others, whether it was a dish to pass, she knew you liked a certain dinner, or just that you had a busy week and a home cook meal would help you out.
She was truly the heart of her family, spending as much time with them as possible. Carol found joy in the small things like good food, playing her farm game with her sister Linda, watching her favorite shows and feeding all the wild life around her yard.
She leaves behind her children, Bobbi Toole, William (Debrenda) Bracy, Beverly (Christopher) Johnson; grandchildren, Samantha Stabinsky, Jamie (Jason) Lofft,
Derek (Haley) Swann, Kayleigh Bracy, Austin (Makayla) Swann, Kodie (Samantha) Bracy; great-grandchildren, Collin Lofft, Landen Willis, Reagan Lofft, Averianna Swann; sisters, Linda Cook, Lisa Tortorello; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Agnes Wright and James Wesley Wright; brother Kevin L. Wright; grandson Dillon M. Swann; and great-grandson Raiden A. Burke.
In keeping with Carol's wishes there will be a celebration of life at The American Legion in Port Byron NY on July 26, 2025 at 12pm.
