Charles I. Burgoon, 73, of Auburn died peacefully Monday July 25, 2016 with his family by his side.
Charlie was born in Albion, NY the son of the late Charles and Alberta Snyder Burgoon. Charlie lived his younger years in western, NY. He was an US Army veteran serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.
He was a past employee of the Paint Mill in Auburn and Hadlocks of Newark.
Mr. Burgoon is survived by his wife the former Nanci Assenheimer Burgoon, his children Elizabeth Bartolotta, Charles Burgoon, David Burgoon ( Sherry Mentor), and Philip Burgoon. His sister Ann (Bill) Wood and brother John (Marilyn) Burgoon. His grandchildren; Emily, Kelsey, Matthew, Hannah and Katie.
Several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Angel.
Charlie was predeceased in death by his late wife Tina Pelc Burgoon and his parents.
Calling hours for Mr. Burgoon will be as follows, Thursday July 28, 2016 from 6-8 pm and Friday July 29, 2016 from 9-11 am in the Heieck – Pelc Funeral Home, LLC 42 E.Genesee St. Auburn, NY.
