AUBURN | David A. Jones, 58, of Auburn, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Auburn Community Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer since being diagnosed in 2003.
David was born in Auburn, the son of the late Darrell and Nancy Armstrong Jones. He was a life resident of Auburn. David was well known for his meticulous auto detailing with his wife, Flo, and his wizardry of knowledge for small engine repair and was able to fix anything. David loved to be around his friends for company.
David is survived by his wife of 27 years, Flo, and his many friends.
David was predeceased by his daughter Amber and brothers Randy and Tommy.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 with burial to follow in Fleming Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service in the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home, LLC, 42 E. Genesee St., Auburn.
David will be known as a true symbol of a person with a heart of gold.
