David Rusin

Pittsford - June 16, 2019. David, age 61, is predeceased by his father John Rusin. He is survived by his mother, Clara Rusin of Auburn, NY, his beloved brother John Rusin of Auburn, NY, sisters Mary (Wayne) Pisano of Lake Ariel, PA, Claire Rusin of Auburn, NY, Nancy (Randy) Gable of Weedsport, NY, his beloved nieces Claire Pisano of Gladstone, NJ, Valerie (Doug) Scott of Pipersville, PA, Grace Swientonioski of Weedsport, NY, beloved nephews Alex Pisano of Kansas City, KS, Rick Swientonioski of Rochester, NY, his estranged daughter Leah Rusin, many cousins, and a multitude of friends and business associates.

David was known for his heart of gold and his willingness to help nearly everyone he met. Often working behind the scenes, Davidfinanced many causes that were near and dear to his heart, always thinking of the poor and needy. His brother John, whom God created in a way that would influence David’s compassion for those less gifted, held the most special place in his heart. He was a successful businessman and entrepreneur with a brilliant mind and fiber optics trade magazines featured articles authored by him. He won many awards for his business acumen and success. David inherited an incredible sense of humor from his mom and was a practical joker. Most of all, David was deeply religious and prepared himself for his final resting place with God his entire life. One of the finest people on this planet, David will be missed by an incredible number of people, especially his Auburn family.As per his wishes,

David’s life will be celebrated at a Mass in his hometown of Auburn, NY at Holy Family Church, 85 North Street,Auburn, New York 13021 at 1pm on Friday, June 21, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willow Domestic Violence
