Dean K. Grant

Dean K. Grant 63 of Auburn, NY passed away Sunday Feb. 21, 2016 at Auburn Community Hospital after a valiant fight with cancer.

Dean was born in Auburn on March 12, 1952 the son of George and Helene Kehler Grant. He was a graduate of Auburn High School, Cayuga Community College and Simmons School of Mortuary Science.  He worked for Lowe's as a Sales Manager in Virginia, Delaware and Rochester.  He was a licensed Funeral Director working for several local Funeral Homes.  He also enjoyed being a house painter in his retirement and helping out at Kosta's Bar and Grill.

He was a loving father and Grandfather.

He is survived by his Mother Helene Grant of Auburn, Daughters Rebecca "Becky" Cerio and her husband Michael of Auburn  and

Ashley Colella and her husband Scott of Brumfield, Colorado Grandchildren Mia Colella and Anthony Cerio. Brother William (Janet) Grant of Seattle, Washington and a Sister Linda (Fred) Forbes of Cortland, NY.

Friends are invited to call on Fri. Feb. 26, 2016 from 4 -6 pm at the Heieck - Pelc Funeral Home LLC 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn, NY.  Funeral Services will follow at 6:15 pm from the Funeral Home.
