Frank P. Scharick, Sr. 76, formally of Mercy Apartments. Auburn died peacefully Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Heritage Healthcare Center of Utica.
Mr. Scharick was born in Nanty Glo, PA the son of Michael and Sarah Brown. He was a retired from McQuay International with over 20 years of service as a punch press operator. He enjoyed visiting flea markets, country music along with line dancing, camping, especially with his grandchildren at the NYS Fairgrounds during the State Faire Expo. Frank was also race car fan and worked locally at Rolling Wheels Speedway in the 70’s and was a big fan of NASCAR.
Mr. Scharick is survived by his daughters Tina Scharick of PA., Cheryl (Brian) Mays of Cicero, NY and Stacy Scharick of PA., Anne Marie (Tim) Sullivan of Auburn and sons Frank Scharick od NC and Joseph (Stacie) Scharick of Lyons, NY. Several grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. A nephew Alan (Juli) Scharick; great nephews and Great-great niece and nephew.
Mr. Scharick was predeceased by his sister Marie F. Eicher, his brothers Michael Scharick (the family’s greatest mentor); and Donald Scharick, Including his former wife Sondra Scharick.
Family and friends are invited to call on the family Friday November 21, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Heieck – Pelc Funeral Home, LLC 42 E.Genesee St. Auburn, NY. Services and burial will held at the convenience of the family.
