Gary E. Thomas, 58, of Auburn died Friday July 10, 2015 at VanDuyn Center of Syracuse.
Gary was born in Auburn the son of Roland and Betty Green Thomas. He was a graduate of Auburn High School Class of 1975. Gary was lifelong resident of Auburn, he was a true supporter of Auburn Youth Baseball for many years.
Gary is survived by his parents; his brother Keith Thomas and nephew Scott Thomas. His Aunts and Uncles, Patricia Pealo, Donald and Glennon Thomas, Leroy and Ruth Thomas, Jimmy and Patricia Thomas. Gerald Thomas and Joan Thomas. Several cousins and Scott’s mother Peggy Randall.
Gary was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Elon and Hazel Thomas, maternal grandparents William and Sylvia Green, his aunts Margie Rossman and Phyllis Necorta
He loved watching sports with his father especially horse racing and boxing. He was a very loving and caring person who would do anything for anyone.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday 4-6 pm in the Heieck –Pelc Funeral Home, LLC 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery at a time to be announced.
