Helen F. Kocur, 90, of Auburn died Thursday October 17, 2013 in Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. with her daughters by her side following a brief illness.
Mrs. Kocur was born in Valle De Cadore, Italy the daughter of Rudolph and Maria Cecilia Angnoli
Del Favero. Helen lived most of her life in the Auburn area since 1932. She held memberships with the Elks Lodge 474, Falcon Sportsmen’s Club and the American Legion Auxiliary of the SK Post 1324.
Mrs. Kocur is survived by her daughters; Paulette ( Heinz) Weiler; Gloria ( Gene) Hockeborn both of Auburn and Patricia Dalrymple (Tim Hampson) of Florida. Brothers, Victor ( Marilyn) ,Peter (Helen) and Rudolph (Barbara) Del Favero. Grandchildren, Michele Debish , Talitia McCoy, Paul, Tim, and Tom Weiler, Matthew Hockeborn, Amy and Micky Kocur . Great – grandchildren Tom,Kendra, Breana, Emma , James, Justin and Tom Tom. Daughter –in-law Nancy Kocur. Including Mom’s dearest friend and our “sister” Elaine Post.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Paul, sons Lenny and Michael.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday October 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home, LLC. 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday October 20, 2013 from 2- 5 p.m. in the funeral home.
Helen will be greatly missed by all.
