James Lee (Disco) Lowe
James Lowe. 75 of Auburn died Thursday Jan.2, 2014 in the Veteran Administration Medical Center Syracuse.
Mr. Lowe was born in Syracuse the son of Charles and Geraldine Lowe. Jim lived most of his life in the Syracuse and Auburn areas. He was a retired employee of Dick’s Express. He held memberships with the Teamsters Union and a 40 year member of the Highland Golf and Country Club is where he loved  to be with his friends. In years past Disco lived in Florida for the winters until his health problems denied him. He was an avid SU Basketball and Football, NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. Jim was proud to serve his country in the US Army from 1962-1964.
Jim is survived by his significant other for 30 years Jeanette Gillooly of Auburn, His daughters, Jeanette, Kimberly, Tracy and Kelly. His sisters, Debbie (Chip) Miller and Betty Minikhiem all of Syracuse. Including many friends he met over the years.
Jim was predeceased by his siblings, Jeanne Myers, Joan Scofield and Raymond Lowe.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday Jan.5, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. in the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home, LLC.  42 E. Genesee St. Auburn.  A prayer service will be conducted at 4:15 in the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
