Jeanne M. (Phillips) Tarby

Jeanne M. Tarby, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at The Commons on St. Anthony September 18, 2023, following a sudden illness. Jeanne was born on September 9, 1935, in Auburn, NY.

Jeanne was the loving wife to the late Eugene M. Tarby and a dedicated mother to her three children: Cheryl Corcoran (David), Michael Tarby, and Susan Driscoll (Richard). She was an adored grandmother to Katie Corcoran and Timothy Monnin, Christopher and Sarah Driscoll, and Conor and Avery Driscoll. She took great joy in her great-granddaughters, Charlotte Monnin and Freyja Driscoll. Also, was excitedly anticipating the arrival of her future great-grandson on November 9th. Jeanne was the cornerstone of her family, she instilled in them values, love and an enduring sense of family unity.

Jeanne was an avid skier and golfer. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family on the ski slopes and golf course. She was also an active member of a monthly Club Girls, where she formed lasting friendships and created countless memories. Boating on Owasco Lake with family and friends was another of Jeanne's passions creating wonderful memories.

Jeanne M. Tarby's passing is a heartfelt loss, but her life was a gift that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her. May Jeanne's life be a reminder to all of us to live each day to the fullest, to cherish those we love, and to seek joy in every moment. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
