Jeannie M. (Cronin) Cutillo

Jeannie M. Cutillo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2023, at the Commons on St. Anthony. Born on October 26, 1926, in Buffalo, NY, Jeanne lived a life full of laughter, love, and kindness, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

Jeannie was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent her professional life caring for others. She retired in 1988 as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Auburn Memorial Hospital, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to her patients. Her commitment to her work was a testament to her character, and she was deeply respected by her colleagues and patients alike.

Jeannie is survived by her loving family. Her daughter, Charmaine Smith, granddaughter Michelle (Chris) Chase, and their children, Dylan, Mason, and Madison, will remember her fondly. Her son, Michael Cutillo, and his partner, Don Penree Jr., daughter, Jennifer (Cutillo) Wallace, and her children, will cherish the memories they shared with her. Jeanne also leaves behind her nieces, Marie Howe and Fran Glodzik, both of Buffalo, who will miss her dearly. She enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday Aug. 29, 2023 from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Heieck – Pelc Funeral home. LLC 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn, NY. In accordance with Jeannie’s wishes there will be no services and burial will be private in Holy Cross Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.
