AUBURN | Joanne Silensky DeProspero, 72, of South Street, Auburn, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Auburn Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Auburn, Joanne was the daughter of Mary and the late Walter Silensky. She is survived by her mother, Mary Silensky; two children: son, Christopher (Christine) DeProspero, and daughter, Amber (Jeff) Brier, all of Auburn. In addition, Joanne is survived by two sisters, Denise (Joel) Golden, of San Diego, Calif., and Laurie (David) Dove, of Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandchildren, Stephanie and John DeProspero, and Savannah and Ava Brier, of Auburn; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her father, Walter Silensky, Joanne was predeceased by her twin brother, Walter D. Silensky (Sonny).
At Joanne’s request, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
