John D. Heath Sr.
John D. Heath Sr., 75, of Moravia died Wednesday November 6, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side.
Mr. Heath was born in Scipio the son of Earl and Mary Heath. John was lived most of his life in the Scipio area. John was a retired employee of ALCO with 30 years of service. He also owned his own welding and lawn service businesses. He was a member of the Grand Lodge F&A.M. of Scipio, NY. Mr. Heath was affectionaly known as Uncle John.  John and Jeanne would have celebrated  their  57 years of marriage on November 10th.
Surviving Mr. Heath are his wife the former Jeanne Mekeel, Daughter Mrs. Michael (April) Kessler , sons John Heath the 2nd and Michael Heath. Sisters Ina Chambers and Genevieve ( Ingraham) Williams. Brothers, Stanley, Eugene, and Donald Heath. Several Grand and Great – grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours for Mr. Heath.
Mr. Heath memorial service will held on Friday Nov. 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Number one Church on RT. 34 B with a celebration of life to follow.
