Josephine Martino Saylor, 76, passed away on August 16, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Kathy (Jim) Gauthier and Karen Saylor. In addition, Josephine is survived by her sister, Ronnie (David) Gentilcore of Auburn; two grandchildren, Bailey and Gabriella Gauthier; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Michael, and David Gentilcore, and Anthony Ferrara. She also is survived by her beloved dog, Lu Lu.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Gene Saylor; by her sister, Mary Jane Ferrara; and her parents, Joseph and Rose Martino.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Auburn. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home LLC, 42 E. Genesee St., Auburn. Burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery will be private.
