Judy M. (Hand) Jones

Judy M Jones, 77, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on October 27, 2023. She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Jim and Dorothy (Barb) Hand. Judy is survived by her husband Henry (Sonny) Jones, of 55 Years; brothers and sisters Jim (Carmella) Hand, Cindy (Fred) Groom, Larry (Kathy) Hand, Billy (Janice) Hand, Randy (Marilyn) Hand, Mark Hand, Patty Wolfe, Rosemary (Mel) Paul, Tracy (Randy) Tifft, Angela (Tim) Hand Holmes. She is also survived by brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Vergel (Andrew) Roberts, Elizabeth (Gene) Williams, George (Carol) Jones, and David (Shelia) Jones and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was known for her sweet, caring nature and her love for laughter. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, often around the pool for drinks and good times. Judy also had a passion for gardening and yard work; she found solace in tending to her plants and creating a beautiful outdoor space. Her furbabies, Chloe and Daisy, brought her great joy and were her constant companions.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 2-4 pm at Heieck-Pelc funeral home in Auburn. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate Judy’s life.
