AUBURN | Leroy E. Leubner Sr., 75, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his residence.
Leroy was a lifelong resident of Auburn, the son of the late Ernest A. Leubner and Helen C. Barnhart. He was employed by Alco and Auburn Memorial Hospital before retiring to spend time with his wife of more than 50 years. He enjoyed baseball, football, and Saturdays spent attending estate sales with his wife. Leroy was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church and choir.
Mr. Leubner was predeceased by his wife, Sally, who passed away last September, and his grandson, Daniel Leubner. He is survived by his five children: sons, Leroy Jr. (Sherryl), Ronald (Suzzy), Scott (Meridith), and James (Kimberly), and daughter, Corey Lynne (Richard) Pethybridge; one brother, Rodney (Patti); 19 grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours for Leroy. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 in the United Methodist Church in Auburn.
