Linda Jones Obituary

Linda was a proud graduate of West High School, where she cultivated a love for learning and a dedication to excellence. After graduation, she embarked on a fulfilling career at TRW, where she retired after many years of dedicated service. Her colleagues remember her as a reliable and hardworking individual who brought warmth and kindness into the workplace every day.

Her greatest pride, however, was her family. Linda was a devoted mother to her children Tracey Jones, Terri Jensen, Kim (Steve) Tratt, and Ronald Jones. She cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love with her 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Linda's guidance and affection helped shape the lives of her descendants, and her memory will continue to be a beacon of inspiration for them.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Basil and Catherine Burroughs Seacor and her brother Eugene Seacor.

Linda's interests were a reflection of her down-to-earth and vibrant personality. She was an avid fan of search-a-word puzzles, often losing track of time while enjoying her favorite pastime. Game shows were another source of joy, providing her with many moments of entertainment and friendly competition with her grandchildren. Music was Linda's soul's companion, with the legendary Loretta Lynn being her all-time favorite country music artist. Linda's passion for Loretta's music was infectious, and her family fondly recalls the sound of her singing along to the classic tunes.

Despite her battle with cancer and Alzheimer's, Linda faced her illnesses with courage and grace. She never lost her ability to smile and find joy in the small things - a true embodiment of the well-known quote by Vivian Greene, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain." Linda danced through the storms of life with resilience and optimism.

Linda's life was a beautiful mosaic of love, hard work, and cherished moments. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her, and her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her loved ones. Her spirit, characterized by strength and gentleness, will continue to guide her family in the years to come.

As we say goodbye to Linda, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of a woman who was truly special. She has left an indelible mark on this world, and while she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on through the lives of those she touched.

Her life's journey may have come to an end, but the stories, the lessons, and the love she leaves behind will never fade. Linda Kay Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, colleague, and friend, will be remembered always.
