Lisa (Wright) Tortorello, 58, of Conquest passed away peacefully at University Hospital, Syracuse on August 23rd, 2025 after a four year battle with stage four breast cancer.
Lisa spent her life being a dedicated and loving mother and spent her last years dedicated to her many grandchildren. She is known for her charismatic energy, strong personality, and ability to love anyone around her. Over the years she befriended hundreds of people through school, jobs, and even the cancer center where she received treatment. Anyone who knows her speaks of her kindness and power to make them feel accepted and welcome.
After graduating from Auburn High School in 1985, Lisa went on to start a family and dedicated several years to being a mom and homemaker. Over the years she worked many different types of office jobs and a couple of jobs in the food industry, before earning her associates degree in business from CCC and becoming the town clerk of Conquest for the remainder of her life.
She enjoyed time with friends and family, dancing along to her favorite music, puzzle games, cooking, baking, crafts, and more than anything she adored her time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Lamphere, children Raymond Tortorello Jr. (Elizabeth Mills) and Ashley (Tortorello) Massaro (Joseph Massaro), step children Alexis (Lamphere) Mosher (Timothy Mosher) and DJ Lamphere, and grandchildren Hunter, Madisyn, Alice, Nathaniel, Vincent, Gage, Nora, Theodore, Mia, Tony, and Harper, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Lisa is predeceased by her mother Mary (Daly) Wright, biological father James Wright, brother Kevin Wright and sister Carol (Wright) Bracy.
A celebration of life will be held at the Conquest Town Clerk’s Office, 1289 Fuller Road, Port Byron on September 27th from 12-3. We are asking for any donations to be given to the Upstate Cancer Center at Auburn Community Hospital as well as the Saint Agatha Foundation (https://www.saintagathafoundation.org/).
