Marjorie Zelehowsky Obituary

Marjorie "Marge" Zelehowsky, a beacon of love and faith, completed her earthly journey and entered into eternal rest on September 6, 2025, at the age of 101. Born on August 11, 1924, in Auburn, NY, Marge was a lifelong resident and a cherished pillar of her community.

Marge was the beloved wife of the late Marshall Zelehowsky, and together they built a life filled with joy and devotion. Her love and guidance were the cornerstones of her family, and although preceded in death by her sons Greg and John Zelehowsky, and her daughter Diane Zelehowsky, her legacy of kindness and strength lives on.

Marge's spirit is carried forward by her sisters Betty Pelc, Eloise Seitles and her brothers Harry and Ronald Peacock. She was a guiding light to her surviving children, Deborah (Jim) Ingram, Patricia Dean, and Gary (Barb) Zelehowsky. Her grandchildren; Lucas, Adam, Jason, Matthew, John, and Sara Zelehowsky;  David and Jamie Gulbe; Greg (Carmen) Cornell; Michael (Davina) Dean, and Lisa (Bobby)Touchberry.  Her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, will forever cherish the memories and lessons she imparted.

For many years, Marge served diligently at General Electric, where she retired after a fulfilling career. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were matched only by her dedication to her faith and church community. Marge's Christian beliefs were the foundation upon which she built her life, and her actions were a testament to her unwavering faith. Marge faced life's challenges with grace and optimism, always trusting in the Lord's plan. Marge's love for her family, her selfless service to others, and her enduring faith are the precious gifts she has left behind.

Marjorie Zelehowsky's life was a journey of love, service, and faith. She touched the lives of many and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her loved ones, but they take comfort in knowing she is at peace with her Creator. As we celebrate Marge's life, we are reminded of the impact one person can have when they live with purpose and faith. Her story is one of a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
