Martin J. Messing Jr.

Martin "Butch" Messing Jr. 65 of Auburn, NY passed away Monday April 16, 2018 at Auburn Community Hospital.

Martin was born in Bay Shore, Long Island on Nov. 28, 1952.  He was retired from Agway and later from New Venture Gear.  In his youth he was an Eagle Scout.  In his adult years he enjoyed finding the latest tech gadgets, cooking with new kitchen tools and spending time with his children and granddaughter.

Martin is survived by his Mother Louise (Bacaria) Chenis, two children Heather (Brian) Tomasso and Joseph "JJ" Messing, a Grand daughter Stella Tomasso, his Sisters Donna (Jerry) Messing-Tenenblatt  and Kristy Davis, Brothers Jeffery Messing and Alan Messin as well and may nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his Father Martin Messing Sr. and his Grand parents.

Friends are invited to call on Fri. April 20, 2018 from noon to 1 pm at the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home LLC 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn, NY.  Funeral Services will follow 1 pm from the Funeral Home
