Nancy L. (Brock) Hutson

Nancy L. Hutson (Brock) of Norma Drive Auburn passed away October 27, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Nancy was born in Fulton, NY on October 13, 1949 to Leslie and Arvena Brock. She grew up on a dairy farm in the town of Niles with her parents and seven siblings. She was a long-time self-employed hairstylist operating at the NU-U Salon with her friend Pam Tinti. Nancy was also an accomplished seamstress and altered countless wedding, bridesmaids, and prom dresses as well as simple alterations. She loved her family and prior to her illness loved to travel. She made many trips to Ireland and Hawaii with her travel buddy Regina Weller as well as a cruise to Alaska and trips to Kure Beach, NC.

Nancy is survived by her husband Don Hutson, granddaughter Yasmine Smith (Michael White). Also surviving are her sisters Elizabeth Glanville (David), Barbara Doty, and Judith Prentice (Charles), brothers Gene Brock (Karen), William Brock, and Kenneth Brock (Deb), and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, daughter Caren Williams, and brother Frank Brock.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday Nov. 5, 2023 from 1- 4 p.m. in the Heieck – Pelc Funeral Home, LLC 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn, NY.  A private memorial service will be conducted on Monday for close family members and special friends.
