Paul S. Baker, 87, of Port Byron, NY, passed away on Aug 23, 2025 with his family by his side.
Paul was born on Oct 3, 1937 in Auburn New York.; he was the son of the late Raymond and Ada Mae Rice Baker. He graduated from Weedsport High School in 1956. A remarkable man of many hobbies especially, Griswold cast iron collector. Member of the Montezuma Historical Society, Life member of the Montezuma Fire Department.
Paul worked all over Cayuga and Seneca Counties as a mechanic for cars, lawn mowers and tractor trailers. He was the master of fixing things.
Surviving Paul is his wife the former Roberta Kieffer of 69 years of marriage. He was a great father of seven children. Sharon Lawton, Karen Witchey (Daniel), Garld Baker (Marylou), Virginia Weathers, Charles Baker (Melinda), Vanessa Clingerman (Richard), and Robert Baker. Proud grandfather of 28 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 15 Great - great - grandchildren including several nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his siblings Francis Baker, Raymond Baker, Gladys Baker Lee, Virginia Baker Bommersbach. Shirley Baker Dutcher and Dorothy Baker Grady.
Per Paul’s wishes there will be no services or calling hours.
