Rev. Hugh P. Bosewell III

Rev. Hugh Priddy Boswell III, 69, of Weedsport, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Hugh was born in New Albany, MS, the son of Hugh Priddy Boswell Jr. and Nelda Adams Boswell. He graduated from Tupelo High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Delta State University and his Master of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was in the Christian ministry for over 40 years as pastor, associate pastor, music ministry and youth ministry.

Surviving Hugh are his wife, Elaine, daughters, Della Smith, Nelda Dowdy, Virginia Trosclair and Ruth Causey, brother, Joe Boswell and sisters Jane Davis and Bettie Young. He has six grandchildren, a nephew and two nieces.

Hugh was preceded in death by his wife, Debra, on December 25th, 1995.

Due to the current circumstances, a virtual memorial service may be held on a later date.
