Sally M. Leubner, 71 of Auburn died unexpectedly Tuesday Sept. 17, 2013 at her residence.
Sally was born in Granby the daughter of the late Byron and Minnie Stewart Van Linder. Sally resided most of her life in the Auburn area. She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1969. Sally previously worked for Em Con and she was a domestic cleaner. She loved quilting, reading and genealogy as her hobbies. She was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church and choir and assisted with the Olde Tyme Fair at church.
Mrs. Leubner is survived by her husband Leroy of 54 years. Her children Leroy Jr. ( Cheryl ) of Auburn , Ronald ( Susan) of Seneca Falls, Scott ( Meredith) of Fairport and James ( Kim) of Auburn, daughter Corey Lynn ( Rick ) Pethybridge of Rochester. 2 sisters Patti Leubner ( Rodney) of Sherwood and Irene Hall of Mineto. 17 Grandchildren, 3 Great –grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Brothers Lee and Carl Van Linder predeceased Sally in death.
There will be no calling hours for Sally. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday October 12 at 11:00 am in Auburn United Methodist Church 99 South Street in Auburn.
