Steve ( Buzzy) Bazarnik

Steve (Buzzy) Bazarnik, 86 formerly of Englewood Ave. died Sunday May 11, 2014 in Auburn Nursing Home.
Steve was born in Auburn on July 20, 1927 the son of Antonio and Olena Bazarnik. He was a lifelong resident of the city. Steve was an US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He retired with 41 years of service from Con Rail as a signal man. A communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a past member of the S-K Post 1324 and Sicz Club.

Mr. Bazarnik is survived by his children; Stephen (Shirley) Bazarnik, Patty Bazarnik, Sandra ( Peter) Vuillemot, Debra Bazarnik all of Auburn, Susie Trumps, Las Vegas John (Angela) Bazarnik of Norwich and Lisa (Bazarnik) Smalley of Auburn.. Grandchildren; Anthony, John Jr. and Joseph Bazarnik, Matt Vuillemot, Katie ( Jeff) Wolford, Kristi Vuillemot, Ashley, Alexa, Preston (PJ), and Joshua Smalley. His nieces Carol Marinelli and Christine Clark.

Steve was predeceased by his wife Jane in 2000, sisters Mary Bazarnik and Julia Kells, brothers Frank and John.
