Virginia L. Parenti, 80, of the Town of Throop died Sunday in Auburn Community Hospital.
Mrs. Parenti was born in Auburn and she lived most of her life in the Auburn area. Virginia was a past employee of General Electric and Tops Markets in Auburn.
“I was predeceased by my husband Philip Sr. who was my best friend and I loved with my last breath, my parents Elenore and Walter Wade who I honored and loved all my life. I was survived by my two sons Dominic, Philip Parenti Jr. and daughter Terrie Casey whom I was always so proud of and they were good to me. My 2 grandsons Joshua and Brian Casey who Phil and I devoted many years of our lives to. My brother Bill Wade and his wife Caroline who saw me through so much and they made the trip here so many times just to be with us. My Brother Eddie Wade who loved me more than he would ever admit LOL! My sister Bonnie and her husband Mike DePalma who were there for me any time day and night. They were there for me more than anybody knows. Also nieces and nephews, especially Debbie, Sue, Renee and Lisa. Our dear friends who were such an important part of our lives, Martha and Harry Colella. In later years Judy and Ken Davis became like family to me and Bill Caldwell was so kind to me. At my request there will be no calling hours. I was blessed.….now Phil is waiting for me.”
Family and friends are invited to Mrs. Parenti graveside service Thursday August 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming. Please use gate 5 entrance off of Sandbeach Rd.
